Birr al-Walidayn (Kindness to Parents)
In the Quran, right after telling us to worship only Him, Allah tells us to be good to our parents — that's how important they are! Your parents fed you, stayed up at night for you, and love you more than you can imagine. Listening to them in all the good they ask of you, speaking gently, and helping them is one of the deeds Allah loves most. Even saying 'uff' in annoyance is something the Quran asks us to avoid. Allah even says, 'Be grateful to Me and to your parents' — so being sweet to them is a beautiful way of saying thank you.
