Getting things cosy…
Tawakkul (Trusting Allah)
Tawakkul means doing your best, then trusting Allah with the rest — just like the birds the Prophet ﷺ described, who fly out every morning with empty tummies and come home full. Feeling scared sometimes is normal: even Prophet Musa عليه السلام and his brother Harun عليه السلام told Allah they were afraid, and Allah said, 'Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see.' Allah sees and hears you too, and takes care of you even while you sleep. That doesn't mean nothing hard ever happens; it means you are never facing anything alone. When you feel scared of the dark, or worried about something new, you can whisper 'HasbunAllah — Allah is enough for us' — and feel your heart grow braver.
