Salah (Prayer)
Salah is not a chore Allah needs from us — Allah doesn't need anything. Allah asks us to pray so that we remember Him, and salah is a gift FOR us: five special times a day to talk with the Most Merciful, who is more merciful to you than a mother to her baby. When you pray, you are never alone; in your duas you can tell Allah anything, and your heart gets calm the way water goes still. It's also how we say thank You for everything — your breath, your family, your food, your fun. The Prophet ﷺ called prayer a light — and people who learn to love salah carry that quiet light everywhere, their whole life long.
